You can view the Independent Publisher site here: http://bookpublishing.com/ip/ It does cost to enter this contest, but it is not a fake. It is mentioned favorably in Publishers Weekly, and can bring much needed publicity and prestige to self-published or small-published authors. Thought some of you might be interested! Kathy

We define "independent" as: a) Independently owned and operated b) Universities and foundations c) Independently operated imprints who publish less than 50 titles per year. d) Independent authors who publish themselves or through a subsidy or POD publisher.
