I just came home from picking up my son and doing about 6 errands. I drive a Suburban, which wasn't in 4WD, and I hit some icy snow on the road. I lost control, going back and forth across the road. I ended up off the road, which went down a few feet and over a metal culvert pipe. I destroyed my right, rear tire and was able to pull over. Thank God no one was coming for me to hit and I had my cell phone. My husband and SIL came and changed the tire. My 6 yr. ol, 3 yr. old and I all were unharmed (just nervous!!) Thank you, Lord!

He's watching over you Bluebird. Glad to hear you and the kids are fine. Good thing you had your cell and hubby was around to catch the call.

Wanna hear something weird? On Dec. 23, 2002, I was at the top of my driveway getting my mail. I was starting to pull in and someone hit me on the right side, smashing in the sliding door of my van. My 12 yr old and his friend were with me. No one was hurt but the van was a total. It was 2 days before Christmas and 5 days before our daughter's wedding, which was 45 minutes away. We had to rent a van for it! December doesn't like my vehicles.

Do you have anyone to do the driving for you in the month of Dec?
My daughter had her first accident this year, in the month of Dec.
Think people have their minds on other things and are really not paying total attention.
Just glad your all safe.

Yes...sounds like he was being watched from above. I sure it has, but.... did that change his life?
Kids just don't think it can happen to them.

Two of my boys went through the same thing...DUI and reckless driving, one spent time in the county jail. He called everyday for me to come and bail him out, I let him sit it out until his court date. Told all of them long ago, "you get locked up, don't call me".
Sometimes thats the only way they learn...unfortunate but true.
Now, they have insurance premiums that are unbelieveable...and wished they would have listened.

Thank God you're all safe and sound, Bluebird! And thank God for his protection for us all.
Ever wonder how many times we've been in danger without knowing it? Wouldn't you like to sit and chat with your guardian angel regarding the many times he's protected you from harm? "The Lord's angel emcampeth around those who trust in God", says Psalm 34:7
