Do you find yourself after being widowed comparing new men you meet to your deceased husband? Do you think its true after awhile that all we widows remember is the good of the man we lost, and have a tendecy to be unrealistic about the way they really were?

When an old lover/friend/wannabe husband died, a friend reminded me that when people die they become angels. And angels are perfect. No mere mortal can ever compete with an angel.

Making lost loved ones angels seems to be the only way to handle the loss. Maybe you should not talk about it. Especially to another man.
