I found the most wonderful site: Gratefulness.org

During this time of utter saddness - I am more convinced than ever that we have to look for things to be grateful for. If you click on Features you will be able to 'light a candle' for whatever you desire. I just lit one for our nation that so needs our prayers at this time.

Great site. Thanks for sharing. Be sure to do .org and not .com.

I remember in the days after 9/11, people all across the country began putting lighted candles in their windows (the electric, plug-in kind) as a way to show their concern and prayers for the victims. I wonder if this is being done or thought of. I'm not in the states but if I were and if this hasn't been started, I would.

Just a thought.

Blessings, Francine

Bumping this up to support Dotsie's "Light and Candle Project" announcement. This is a wonderful idea and I hope it catches on. I will keep my virtual candle lit along with one on my window sill.
