I notice that some of the forum topics have "hall monitors". Can someone explain what that means and what the duties of that person are?

The hall monitor is the one who takes responsibilty for that particular thread. Keeping it moving and hopefully an interesting, informative and safe place. As a monitor of several threads this is my personal interpretation Mary but someone else may have a different answer....
