Well, they advertise a poetry contest and promise you an email when you submit your poem...well, I never got my email confirmation and guess what??? There is no contact email or number to get in touch with these people...I believe they may very well be taking original works and making it theirs!! Does anybody out there know anything about these people?? Please let me know asap...And, oh yes, thanks for listenenig to my very fine whine! Rose

Here's a couple links about sites like that: http://www.aarp.org/bulletin/consumer/scam_poetry.html http://www.author-me.com/poetryscams.htm You'll probably receive a letter saying your poem has been picked and will be published IF you agree to buy the book AND send them $50+ dollars - a lot of money for a book! I know a woman who's in one of the books with several poems. She even paid to go to the ceremony to pick up the book. All she wanted to be was published. She's happy.

I understand that it's copyrighted in the USA as soon as pen hits paper but I will be using this poem in my book, so how do I prove it's mine??? Rose Plus everybody!!!
