Just when you've given up, he does something to prove you wrong or that he's dedicated to trying.

My husband called me on my cell phone yesterday afternoon while I was at this seriously strange New Age show (never do that again!) and said, "What are you doing for dinner tonight? I was wondering if you would like to have dinner with me?"

So, I say, "Are we eating together over the phone?"

His reply: "I'm flying in at 5:15 this evening so I can watch Montel with you at home tomorrow morning but have to catch a flight right after to return to MN." Amazing.
