I'm watching an Oprah show about older women and younger men. Interesting.

My husband of less than a year is six years younger, and he is actually one of older men I dated.
Up until middle age, men who asked me out were usually older and I was once married to a man fifteen years older.
However, when I reached middle age, all that changed and younger men began to ask me out. I wonder if it was an attraction thing or maybe all the men my age had simply "gone on to meet their maker." ???

Actually I think the older younger thing that Oprah is talking about is couples who are a generation apart (i.e. the older partner could have given birth to the younger partner--15 to 20 yrs. I suppose)

Is anyone on here married to a younger guy? Or has been? Or wants to be? Or doesn't want to be? Or dated younger guys?

Seems to be a trend for boomers. Just wondered what everyone thinks.

My husband is 6 years younger than I am. My father was 7 years younger than my mother. My sister is married to someone 4 years younger than she is. It seems to be a trend with the women in my family. The age difference doesn't seem to make much difference, except sometimes I feel a lot older in my bones. However, my husband is diabetic, so it's a toss up who's health will hold up longer.

My girlfriend is married to a man 11 years younger than she. She will be 60 next month and they have a great marriage.

I can't think of too many couples where the gal is older, but my father-in-law is dating a gal younger than me. [Eek!] He's extremely happy too!

Don't see where age is all that important. Men have their younger women all the time, so why not us. Older women today are beautiful, smart, classy, and youthful and we still (most of us) enjoy sex, being sexy, and acting sexy too. I say go for it, vive-la-difference....Besides I have alot of stamina and these older guys [Eek!] poop out too soon. he he!!
