No chatty. There is no way for me to get in touch with her. She is in Kansas City and I am in PA. Besides, we are not very close. I am the oldest of eight and she is the youngest of the same eight.
I wish there was some way through my writing that I could find to help her. But, right now I am truly at a loss and I think my anger at her and what she has done to get herself in this position are blocking me from feeling the compassion I need to find a way to help her through my writing.

Chris, I truly understand what you're saying. Maybe a letter from you expressing exactly the way you feel would help, thus using your writing skills. Until I have walked in her shoes I dare not comment on her getting herself in this situation. I am at odds with a younger sister as well, tried everything including inviting her to come stay with me all for free but whatever hold this man has on her [Smile] it is a strong one and she stays and stays and stays enduring his abuse. All we can do is pray in some situations and in the words of my son who sometimes puts my thinking straight, "forget about it!!" I hope all works out for you and your sisters and their families....
