Hi, all. We’re still looking for stories for upcoming Christmas, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day projects and look forward to seeing more of your work! Here’s another rundown of the details:

On each of these themes, we’d love to see inspirational pieces in a variety of genres: poetry, inspirational shorts, longer true life stories, etc. Just a reminder: For the grads and fathers books, we love it when men’s and teens’ stories are written as a first-person “as told to.”

Stories really shouldn’t exceed 1,200 words. We’ll issue a non-exclusive license upon acceptance, offering a payment between $20-$75 on the basis of length, etc. E-mail submissions are preferred—just send to jessica@markgilroy.com and/or mark@markgilroy.com.

It would be great to have all submissions by the first week in December. Your efforts are appreciated—I know this is a busy time.
