Transita is a newly-established publishing company that is looking
for contemporary women's fiction that reflects the lives of women
aged 45-75. The company has been started to fill a void in current
literature that effectively mirrors the experiences of modern middle-
aged women. The aim is to publish new voices that speak for a
generation of under-represented readers, providing insight,
validation, inspiration and encouragement for women in middle age.

The books should crystallise the challenges and opportunities, lives,
loves and losses which face so many middle aged women today. The
company plans to produce between 10 and 20 paperbacks per year from
a mix of new and veteran
