Jago,
Welcome new member! I'm sorry to hear about the laundry problem. Yes, a hand-held steamer should do the trick. You can pick one up at Walgreens, Wal-Mart, CVS, or maybe even the Dollar Store. I have one that is small and I use to carry it when I traveled a lot with the company. They are great to have around for emergencies just like yours.

Now... back to you. Welcome to the forum and if you get the time, please tell everyone a bit about yourself. I'm assuming you have children or else you play hockey.

You can also try putting a towel over it and then ironing it. This way the iron won't burn the logo. Or else put a heavy flat object on top of it and leave it over night. I used to do that with my son's jerseys. I never had any real wrinkles but they always used to sort of curl up.

Welcome Jago. Hope you got things straightened out. Let us know.
Anyone know what works BEST for permanent marker. I tried spray and wash, and hairspray so far. Any of you had a tried and true success?

Chick,

With permanent marker - I think you have to use scissors....... to cut the mark out. LOL. (sorry - not so helpful, huh?)

I'm a stain attractor! Here's a laundry tip. I keep a Spray & Wash stain stick in my bathroom. Whenever I get undressed I search my clothes for stains. I rub the stain stick on the stain and throw the clothes in the laundry hamper. The stain stick goes to work on the stain and when laundry day comes around, my clothes are ready for the washer.

Spray & Wash says you can use a stain stick up to 7 days before washing the clothes. Works perfect for me because I do laundry every Monday.

Welcome to the boomer women forum, Jago. I hope you were able to straighten out your hockey jersey logo.

Chick, I think permenant marker, is um, permanent, isn't it? Kinda defeats the purpose if you can wash it out, doesn't it?

One of my favorite sayings is, "I look good in everything I eat."

If I ever forget what I had for lunch that day, I just look down. A piece of it will be SOMEWHERE on my clothing.

Its hard being me.
