I was exercising next to a woman the other day who was going home to spring clean. I didn't know women still did that. Egads! Do you pick a room and thoroughly clean it from ceiling to floor this time of year?

That's one of the blessings of aging eyes. I can't see the dirt as well so why bother?

My idea of spring cleaning is switching out my winter clothes to summer clothes.

My grandmother scarred me for life, that is why I do not have nicknacks around the house. I still haven't recovered from the ammonia we used to clean hers. We used to spring and fall clean, ceiling to floor.

However, I will clean out a closet at 2 in the morning. My husband still hasn't come to terms with that quirk.

Good for you Jersay Girl I have to admit to being strange about Spring cleaning or cleaning in general. I do some, for instance, I wipe off the telephone while waiting for the maid service to answer so I can tell them to come clean my house again. Does that count??? [Eek!]

My Spring cleaning consists of 3 gallons of paint and good intentions. The paint "might" get put away if I decide to do fall cleaning.

I occassionally wipe my monitor with my dinner napkin and a little spittle, does that count.

All of these efforts count. Especially 'good intentions' LOL

I get too depressed if my house is filthy. I did a bunch of cleaning last week. It's not so much seasonal as "this place is disgusting and I can't stand it anymore." If I ever come into money, my #1 priority is a maid.
