Balance
in the circus little children learn to walk the tightrope from an early age..must take trust in the adults around them. Then many go on to do greater things...become acrobats.
Likewise
it takes trust in others and in ourselves to climb the ladder that leads to balance

Oh MA...how profound and so true. Trust in ourselves...I fail my own self on many an occasion. I try really hard to go with my gut instincts. They never fail me. I usually ask myself, how do you feel about this or that. Then I follow the feeling.

You're so wise!

Really nice folks bend over backwards to give others and situations a "chance" and thats you JJ..
Gut feelings..instinct...wisdom..maybe its survival.
we also learn through experience and put that learning into action with "adult" decisions.

I'm all for intuition, MA. I think the older we get, the better our intuition as we've had more experiences to integrate into that intuition. I've been working on my partner to trust his intuition. There have been so many times when his gut said don't, and he did anyway, and it turned out wrong. I guess guys think intuition is a woman thing and think they should rely on logic. HA! I only know that his intuition is almost always right.

Ask him the next time he doesn't trust his instincts Yonuh:

If you can't trust yourself, who can you trust?

LOL, Chatty. I know what his answer would be - he would say he trusts me and my intuition. He is getting better at it though. His problem is he overthinks everything, and starts 2nd guessing himself. We have been together more than 15 years, and he has really come a long way in that time. (patting self on back!)

You don't need to go through menopause to have a fuzzy brain,
there yonuh! I know lots of "cloudly headed" people, of all ages.

I had hot flashes and night sweats. They weren't so bad. Not having a monthly visitor, is the only good thing about aging!
whistle

Now that I think about it, I invented the "Fuzzy Brain Syndrome." sleep
