A couple of weeks ago I sang a duet with a guy at church. I knew he was recording the duet, but didn't know if he recorded my solo afterward. He was. A couple of days later, I received a message saying, "You're on YouTube." Ack!
At first I was hesitant about having it on there, but I've received so many wonderful emails and comments that I'm getting used to the idea.
Wow, you looked so comfortable up there. Our choir director would love to have you! Absolutely beautiful. And your lavendar jacket matched your surroundings. You go girl. What a gorgeous voice.

Wow. You don't know how much it means to me to see your encouraging words. I may even let our media minister record a few more. I used to sing all the time, and have gotten away from it. Perhaps God is nudging me to sing more.
With a voice and attitude like yours don't ever stop singing...it's a beautiful gift from God and you need to be using those pipes in church, girlfriend! Yes, let your media minister record more of your beautiful singing and let us who aren't fortunate enough to see and hearing you in person sing, let us watch you on youtube. Donna...you should feel very proud of yourself...I am very proud of you. HUGS HUGS HUGS!!! I can tell you are singing from your soul...Bravo!!!

I'm laughing at myself right now because I made it so much harder to share the video than it had to be! I didn't know it could go right into the message. Live and learn.
I love the thought of you singing along! Here you go:
How Can I Keep From Singing by Chris Tomlin
There is an endless song Echoes in my soul I hear the music ring
And though the storms may come I am holding on To the rock I cling
How can I keep from singing Your praise? How can I ever say enough? How amazing is Your love! How can I keep from shouting Your name? I know I am loved by the King And it makes my heart want to sing!
I will lift my eyes In the darkest night For I know my Savior lives
And I will walk with You Knowing You'll see me through And sing the songs You give
How can I keep from singing your praise? How can I ever say enough? How amazing is your love! How can I keep from shouting your name? I know I am loved by the King, And it makes my heart want to sing!
I can sing in the troubled times Sing when I win I can sing when I lose my step And fall down again I can sing 'cause You pick me up Sing 'cause You're there I can sing 'cause You hear me, Lord When I call to You in prayer I can sing with my last breath Sing for I know That I'll sing with the angels And the saints around the throne.
How can I keep from singing Your praise? How can I ever say enough? How amazing is Your love! How can I keep from shouting Your name? I know I am loved by the King And it makes my heart - I am loved by the King And it makes my heart - I am loved by the King And it makes my heart want to sing!

Yay! That's great! And here's something great, too. The guy who recorded the video put the lyrics on the screen so it's easier to sing along. SO nice of him!
What a lovely chap to have done that for you, Donna. What a fine thing it is that you can sing in front of a congregation. I could never do that. For one, I am not allowed to. I am a contralto, which means everyone has to dig deep. LOL!
Thank you for sharing your lovely voice with us, Donna. And Dotsie is right. You looked so comfortable and your outfit matched your surroundings perfectly.
I just had to listen to it again...so beautiful and from-the-soul...you're an amazing woman with a wonderful gift. Keep sharing.

A very moving song, Donna. Well done and thanks for sharing. Alabaster Box is a moving and appropriate song for the lessons Scripture imparts. Are there songs you sing in Church which make you hold back tears? "How Great Thou Art" and "Make Me a Channel of Your Peace" are two of those which always do that to me.
Nice to see you had fresh palms. We had dry ones but, flexible enough for me to twist into a cross during the Homily.
Thank you for watching the video, Lola! I pray you had a wonderful Resurrection Sunday as well. One of my children came to church and I was thrilled to death.
