Coldwater Creek, a retail store and catalog business that caters to the female baby boomer market has now expanded into day spas. WWD reports that Coldwater Creek is expecting the spa concept to eventually expand to a few hundred locations across the United States. The first spa opened near Portland, Oregon earlier this month and the next spas are planned for spots in California, Colorado and Texas this spring and summer. The spas will offer massages, facials, manicures and pedicures. They will sell third-party cosmetics but later may offer private label treatment products. The WWD article mentions that the Coldwater Creek demographic, women in their early forties with a household income in excess of $75,000, is also the biggest day spa demographic.

That leaves me out I guess....and most of us as well! What about something nice for the single, widowed or just less financially secure women, don't we need something nice to pamper us???

I agree Chatty, what about us who earn < than $75K?
