LOL Lola, I'm liking you more and more!

All right, how about this? Getting out of the car, with a cell phone to the ear, a grandchild hanging on to the leg, a neighbour calling something or the other over the fence, and me clicking at our front door, with our remote car door opener.

Heck! Have you ever gone shopping with a grandchild and packed all the groceries in the car except for the child, EW? Done that as well. My 2-year old grandson sitting in the shopping trolley screaming away: "LOOOOOOOOOOLAAAAAAAA...you forgot meeeeeeeee!" as I started the engine and was getting ready to pull out of the "mother and baby" parking bay.

Morale of the story: child in first. Or...never shop alone with a rogue grandchild. LOL!

This is getting better with every post.

How about trying to pay for your groceries with their money saving card instead of your credit card? Done that and had a laugh.

How about forgetting to pay, and just walking off with the groceries?

I make a list of everything and diarise. I never shop unless I have a list or I might as well have stayed in bed. I've gone into a shop with full trust on my cerebral ability, after all I quote caselaw for a living. Heck...little good that serves me when I have to remember what I was supposed to pick up from the shop. And, the cheeky daughter goes..."Mother, would I need to put you on medication now?" LOL!

Or coming home from the grocery store, forgetting you have a car full of groceries. Then a couple hours later, when you go to get something you bought, you realize you left everything in the car? Sad.

Just to my own defense, I seldom do a house showing on a Sunday, so that's why I didn't check the calender. And as for the dinner invitation? I thought I remembered the date correctly. But believe me, I'm writing everything down from now on. Just got to remember to check that calender! jeesh.

Weeeeeeeeell, if you're going to find extenuating circumstances...might do that as well. I have three grandchildren! I ferry to and from school, dance, football club, swimming, karate, ballet, creche...and then there's dog. A chihuahua who thinks he's a rottweiler.
