I had a hysterectomy in June and kept my ovaries intact.

Is it possible to expereince PMS? I realize that PMS is a function of a drop in estrogen. So could this be happening to me and will it occur every month?

What has your expereince been?

I do know that sometimes ovaries can stop functioning after a hysterectomy and I am concerned this may be occuring.

I will see my doctor again in about 4 months so I will log my moods (pretty bad one day) and see if there is a pattern.

Just curious what other women have experienced.

lynn, I don't have any answer but is there some way you could inquire at your Dr's office without waiting until you next visit?
