ONE more outfit is all you should buy for the winter now despite ALL the sales you could take advantage of. Remember: If it's on sale, it's out of season. You may think you will wear it next year but we never really like it next year!

Look for "resort." Get ready in Feb. to invest in "resort," so you are ready for spring. Spring will be in the stores by late Feb. or March and you will be ahead of the ball. The best pickin's for spring are resort clothes on sale after winter. Resort comes out before Christmas and is an indicator of what we will see in the Spring. So ~ if you see resort wear on sale, pick it up if you like it and it really fits you!

You must be very cutting edge when it comes to your wardrobe. I buy sale classics and wear them forever. One day, I'd love to be more fashion forward. We'll see what happens this spring. We're going away in March so maybe I'll get a couple new trendy outfits for vacation. I don't have the patience it takes to try everything on. I'll see something I like, then think... uh, I don't feel like trying on so I leave.

Dotsie, I am a bit edgy when it comes to clothing because I see the art in it. My parents dressed me very well with clothing often sent from Italy. This got me used to fine fabrics and opened my mind to fashion.

Sometimes it is a tweaking of something small that does it for me and at times, it is a haircut, as it is now, that I am seeking. I've grown my hair long and it is hard to care for so I will have it styled the first of the year to something else.

It can change how you see yourself and how others see you and clothing, I believe, is a statement of who you are. After all, it is the first thing people see besides your face.

People who wear a "uniform," or a sweat suit may say that they don't care but they do. They want a certain color, they want a certain feel to even that sweat shirt.

Everyone cares about clothing, even if they don't admit it.

I am not particularily fashion conscious but like looking neat, clean, and well coordinated. When I see someone out and about all wrinkly or with stains and seemingly unscathed by it all, Ii wonder about them as a person. If that is shallow then I guess I am. Maybe we can't all afford the 'latest fashions' but everyone should be clean and neat at least.

I am finding you can get some lovely scarf, glove and hat sets really marked down now. I bought several for next Christmas as gifts. Saved 60% too!
