Hmm..I would like to try it. I need to try it. Traveling to the US for Christma..as you know..with my 2 oldest grandkids..but they aren´t my nightmare financially..my son, soon 19, is. He´s already there..and he´s already talking about a computer when I come. And I am getting totally nervous about my financial situation..due to my trip. And the trouble is that I WANT him to have a computer because then I´ll have much more contact with him..

So I´ll do this... smile

Shall we try it beginning this Sunday? I think I'm game. It will make me aware of what I'm spending on. I know the answer. IT's my kids. I enjoy buying them little things to mail or give them the next time I see them. Yep, I bought a lamp shade for my son who just bought a house because I saw one at Target and thought it would work. He's had a lamp without a shade since he moved in and he hasn't been using it so I figured, why not... I also bought a shirt to send to my son in NY and a bra (with a coupon) for my daughter who's away at school.

Okay, I'm game. Starting Sunday, I'll keep a list of what I WOULD have bought, and the cost, if we weren't doing this. It will be interesting to see how much I saved. I may also keep a list of what I bought that I probably could have lived without, to see how much I spent that wasn't necessary.

Gotta tell you, ladies..that I kept a close watch on my spendings this week..and it was much LESS than usual!

I will do a run of errands tomorrow, Saturday. But I didn´t do alot of small purchases during the week..which I usually do. Very interesting!

And tomorrow I get help from my partner to carry all the stuff home..and he´ll probably help pay for some of it too.

Hmm..good idea here ladies! smile
