Hey all! If you colour your hair and want it not to fade and for the colour to stay true, there is a better shampoo for that.
If you use a shampoo without sulfates, it is much better for your hair.
One brand is by "Enjoy," and you can google it and find it readily!
Just another tip!

My hairdresser uses Lanza products. I love them. In between, I use good old Suave shampoo and mousse, and go back and forth between TRESemme hairspray (and sometimes use the mousse) and my old standby, which is still my favorite hairspray, Aqua Net. I don't particular care what's in Aqua Net, I've used it for over 45 years and my hair likes it. It's only lately that I've been using the other one. I like the Lanza stuff, but it's very expensive. I figure I go every 5 weeks to the salon and they do a wonderful shampoo with it and deep conditioning. I don't care fro the hairspray, since it doesn't hold my hair. But, my hair is in good condition. I'm good to my hair and it's good to me, most of the time. I do however need to perm it in order to get the fullness I want easier. I do my own perms. Done that for many years too. I need one now, so bad.

I have found that the new Dove shampoos are really nice, they leave the hair soft, shiny and quite manageable too.

Jaw Jaw,
Redkin had it's day when it kept up with all the best lines.
I know that the line recommended by many hairdressers is Aveda, which was born in MN.
Aveda keeps your hair in really good condition and has a big fan base.
It is at the price point you are paying for Redkin so you might want to try it.
Redkin is good though. It does have an active lab that tries to put out new products, but it hasn't in awhile.
Aside from the sulfate, if it works for your hair, it's fine.
What products do you use?
