Tomorrow is September 11th.

His name is William Johnston. He was a firefighter in NYC.

He was taken before his time.

Please say a prayer for Billy & his family--they are the most kindest, giving family you'd want to meet.

Thank You.

Same here.....I have a lot of memories involving 9/11 as do we all. I'll be honored to include a special prayer for Billy and his family as well as all those others who perished that terrible day.

I say a prayer for all victims of 9/11 everytime that I see that time on a clock.
Today I have lit a candle as I do every year on 9/11 and say special prayers.
Even though there is another horrendous tradgedy taking place as we speak, today has to still hold its place as a memorial to the victims and their families who perished on 9/11.

Sitting here safely in Fl, I will pray for Billy, his family, and all those who were affected by this tragedy. May God keep you and yours.

Kay, I sure will. I was reminded of people like him while watching part of a special on Discovery with my son last night about 9-11. It was too much to watch. We turned it off. I felt like such a weakling. Poor famiiles continue to grieve the lost of loved ones, and I can't even watch their loss on television. Following the Katrina news these past couple weeks, it was just too much.

Dotsie,
I watched that special, too. I have a headache today from holding back the tears. But, it was good to be reminded of how stunning that day was. I've been guilty of getting caught up in the political rhetoric since then, but when I saw again, so vividly, the attacks on American soil, well, it made me remember that this was only different from Pearl Harbor in that it was x 3(would have been x 4) and it was against ordinary citizens. I don't always agree with the current administration, but I was reminded that we had to do SOMETHING! Sadly, the bloodshed will likely go on and on.
Geez, I'm depressing myself here. I think I'll stop for now.

I too watched and cried and cried again for all of the horror that day held and all of the horror that is still going on because of it.
I was so lucky not to have lost anyone close to me that day but know way too many people who did including twin children who were in my son's class at the time who lost their mother. And way too many who were lucky to escape, some of who were among those that had to walk over the bridges to get out.
During the special they kept mentioning that it was the day that changed everything. Those words couldn't be truer.
