Hi: I'm new. I just read about missing moms. My mother passed away 17 years ago. She died of Lymphoma cancer and she was only 58 years old. I still miss her. You remember the good times. Before she died we had become really close. Of course it was after I got married and my own children that I came to realize what she had to go through with my brother and I. But I still think of her especially on holidays. I was born on her birthday. I used to tell her that I was the best birthday present she ever got. One thing I never thought about was losing her. You never realize how great they were until you lose them. I know I didn't. Sandra

Sandra, I can't help but think of my mom so often during this time of year. I can just picture her getting ready for the holidays and can still hear her singing in her very funny, high pitched voice in all her excitement. She did it just to keep things merry. [Big Grin]

I miss her tremendously, but have a peace about it knowing she is right here with me... always. [Wink] Hope you share that peace about your mom.
