There was an Estee Lauder ad in the early seventies of a model with an empire waist dress with a broad turquoise band. I kept a picture of that dress because I loved it so.

Now your dress is just beautiful, and you look so petite and pretty; like a southern bell. I know you all looked beautiful. Everyone looked beautiful on their prom night. How slender we were then, and I could eat all I wanted to and not gain a pound. I actually ate thick peanut butter and jelly sandwiches before going to bed, almost every night. Those were the days my friends!

Renee, you look like you are in the gown segment of the Miss America Pageant! The feeling that I get looking at these pictures of you all is like I knew you already.
