Your party sounds like it was wonderful. Ours was quiet this year but nice. I was glad to see Dick Clark back in action.

Well most of us here went to bed before midnight (although my 18 yr. old rolled in around 2:30) because my husband and his mom and sister had to get up at 3:30 am to drive to the airport. They are trying to get on a 6:19 flight back to NJ. They were supposed to fly home on thursday but the airline messed them up good. They had no one there to check their bags so they missed the flight. Then they were on standby all day and they never got on a plane but their luggage went to Newark!! We tried to get that back for two days but it never came. I hope it was there at the airport this morning for them. No one in this family will ever fly United again!!! No one there even seemed to care at all. My MIL is 82 and on a crutch and she sat at the airport for 12 hours.

Sounds like some partied, some didn't. I didn't. But as I'm looking around, it seems like most every one made it to Jan. 1 ok!
