I have to know...do any of you dress your pets up for the Holidays. Christmas outfits? Antlers? St. Paddy's Day? Easter? Halloween?

Pictures anyone?

My dog would bite me if I tried!

Trixie wasn't thrilled, either. But I only put them on her, snapped the pic, then took them off. She pouted the rest of the day...wouldn't even watch Animal Planet, for Pete's sake...she hates the Christmas headgear...but whoaaaa Nellie, you let my crown be available and she has it on her head!

She should have bitten you for THAT headgear! Too funny. How old is Trixie now?

I agree...Trixie deserves the crown after that humilation!

Now look at this and tell me that she would let me dress her!

Pepper is so sweet....I love her. She's wearing a beautiful fur, she doesn't need to be dressed.

Let me think...the cat is white and you named her Pepper? Wanna explain that one to us?

Seriously, your cat is beautiful! Great shot!

This is hardly a costume but only a red bow on Casper's scruffy little head. It was taken last Christmas. A month later he died of kidney failure on January 30th,'07. He was 15 years old and had lived a full, active, adventurous life.

There is white pepper you know. I use it in white cream sauces...

I think people that dress up their poor pets are BAD!!! I would smack their hands. I do however think JJ's Trixie looks pretty spiffy in her head gear, and besides she didn't have to wear it very long, just for the picture. My two ladies will be 11 in February, it makes me shudder to think of them aging. Like Dianne, I want them to live forever.

Chatty...you're right...I use white pepper as well!

LadyJane...sorry about Casper...but interesting that us Janes both have/had white cats...

Oh, ladies, you have got me crying and laughing at the same time.

I used to have a cutie pie, named Chuck, who had a growth on his head. I would top it off with an acorn hat (what is that part of an acorn called?) and he would look like he had on a french baret. So cute.

I wish I had another pet, but, the timing is not quite right at the moment.

Yes, JJ....we had two other cats when Casper left for the Rainbow Bridge...and now our two little kittens, 4 in all. If you've never heard of Rainbow Bridge...here it is:

I've visited there before LJ...it's too sad for me, God luv um...I'm glad you have other critters around you. I think they help us balance out our personalities, and our patience, (what's that?) and our love.
