I would love it if you would be kind enough to remember a young adult, college student, and dear friend of my daughters whose dad died of a brain aneurysm this weekend. How shocking and sad. Please pray for her and her family, and all the young adults who will be attending the funeral. Thank you.

Oh Dotsie, of course. How very sad and I know the words are hard to form when you try to comfort someone that young. God love her. I will pray for her and for her family.

My father died 2 days before Christmas. My mother, brother and I found comfort in the songs and the candle lights. It was a sad Christmas, but we felt an intense closeness to God and that our Dad/ husband was with him. It was a beautiful, quiet, and spiritual Christmas. I hope it will be the same for your daughter's friend.

You know then, Hannelore, what it will feel like on these holidays for that young woman. I, too, pray for her and her family that this will be remembered as a very close, spiritual time of year.

Coming so suddenly, unexpectedly and at such a young age, my heart aches for your daughter's friend. I will also carry her in my heartprayers throughout the difficult weeks ahead.

Thanks so much.

She is leaning on others to get her through. It's at times like that that we carry one another. We can look back and wonder how we did it, and it's usually through the kindness of others that we do so.

I appreciate your prayers.

Wow Anne, you have experienced so many losses. I'm so sorry.

More prayers please.

My daughter called last night while on the way to a funeral home for a younger child at her school who died of a heart attack. What a tragic week for her. This young boy must have had something congenital because he had several surgeries while growing up.

In the same conversation, she told me of yet another tragedy. One of her friends from high school commit suicide. How pathetic. He was such a nice young boy. He dated one of friends and frequented our home often. I cna't quite believe this. She has not yet learned what happened and why. His service is Friday.

Please pray for all these kids experiencing such tragic loss.
