Late last night, we learned of the sudden death of a dear friend's only child (heart infection). I am going to be with her today and tomorrow so this may very well be my only post for a bit.

There are many things to pray for but right now I would love prayers for her to have the strength to do his eulogy. This is most important to her, but of course she is worried about getting through it. Ladies, please pray her through this. Thanks so very much. Carry on without me. Onward with strength from God.

Prayers given. I am so sorry to hear of the death of a child, and pray for her strength.

Dotsie I'm sure you are a pillar of strength for your friend. How tragic to lose a child, no matter what age.
I'll be thinking of you, and saying a prayer for your friend.

Thanks ladies. I decided to come home after being with them all day. We'll be heading back for the funeral tomorrow. Let me tell you...it's no fun helping a friend write her only child's eulogy, but we got through it and she is going to be great. I can feel the strength from all the preayers. Keep them coming. Thank you.

While driving there today, it felt so good to know others were praying. What a wonderful feeling. Thank you.

Dotsie, I have you, you friend and family in my prayers. I thank God that she has someone like you to be by her side at such a sad and difficult time.

Dotsie, we're with you and your friend as much as you need us. I honestly can't imagine losing one of my children; this will be an ongoing thing with your friend - she'll need you for quite some time.

Take care, and remember that you're allowed to cry as well.

Trust me, I have cried my eyes out. This has hit me like a ton of bricks. Boy is life fragile.

I just want to thank you for praying for her. She delivered a beautiful eulogy. It was unbelievable. I was so grateful for your prayers. I had lots of women praying for her to get through the eulogy because it was so importnat to her and she did it like you can't even imagine. I know it was God's grace that got her through it. Thanks from the bottom of my heart.
