I got started on it when I was trying to find relief for the pain of Trimgeminal Neuralgia and read an article a doctor had written swearing that it helped his wife with the same problem. I think I've also read that it's supposed to be good for your heart. I take 50 mg per day, and I do think it helped with my TN pain...........and no side effects. _________________________ Ann
