I thought I'd pass this along...

The program I teach at in person, a continuing ed type program, allows all it's teachers to take classes at no cost other than materials fees.

So if you're speaking for less than your usual rate, consider negotiating something like that!

For example: I teach about 7 classes for Discover U, Seattle, during the year, and get more than my monies worth in regards to the variety of classes I can take. I end up taking at least one class a month.
