diverticulitis

I think that's how you spell it.

Someone close to me just had surgery for diverticulitis. She had 10 inches of her bowel removed.

Now that the infected part of the bowel is gone, does she still have diverticulitis? Will she have to take antibiotics or other medications for this condition?

Anyone know?

Beats me but my neighbor just had that done as well and she looks great and feels pretty good right now.
