Gym Shoe weather - 03/15/10 01:01 AM

It will be in the mid seventies all this coming week and with barely any wind. I for one am sooooo happy to throw off the winter rags and spice things up with bright, beautiful spring and summer, pastel colors.
I took out ny best, most comfortable gym shoes and began walking today again. I went two miles, nearly died of exhaustion dragging my large derierre behind me. Bike riding is soooo much easier.
What do you wear while walking for exercise?

I'm with you. One of my chores for this week is to switch the closets from winter to summer, and I can't wait. It's been rainy for three days now, but the sun is going to shine for the rest of the week, and the temo will be in the 60s.

Thsi time last week, there was snow on the groud. Now we have flowers popping up. I'm psyched!

Chatty, keep walking. It's so good for us.I walked an hour this morning. Too bad we don't all live in the same neighborhood. We could have a wlaking club.

I wear these Nike shoes with insoles the podiatrist told me to purchase. They aren't special othrotics, but just soemthing I got at the pharmacy. However, there are different fits and he told me the right one to get for the way I walk. I tend to walk more on the outside of my feet so these things help me keep more balance.

What do you wear?

I wear something called Dr. Scholls Joggers, they are tan, well padded throughout and have velcroe closures instead of shoestrings. Very comfortable and fitting for my foot.
