IT'S NOT OVER AFTER 50!! Fashion is forever.

Sarah Palin is making a fashion statement that many women are watching, and that is:
You can wear what's "in," without looking like a teenager!

Tips:

T his season's bold colors can be worn in moderation. They are colors like Electric Blue or Red. They can be worn in small amounts to update your wardrobe, in things like blouses, bags, belts and the like, even a scarf. Add to bold colors things like charcoal gray or blk to play them right and to play them with class.

(When buying purple, avoid electric purple and opt for the eggplant!)

Skinny tight jeans are over for us, and the waist of our jeans should be just under our natural waist to avoid "mom's jeans." Picking dark wash jeans without stitching or holes is best unless you have the job and personality to pull off holey jeans and very washed looks. Dark jeans are slimming and always in style. You can go to Levi to get any style jean and pay only up to 60 dollars, most of the time less. Levi even makes jeans with Lycra. Why not stick with the classic. Every designer agrees, levi's are almost the perfect design.

No "sausage looks," ever!

Oversized jackets mean thin bottoms like jeans, pants, slim skirts and the like. If you wear bulk on top, try to slim down the bottom.

Tights and leggings are big news this fall. Wear the new eggplant colour or mulberry or gorest green. They are paired with knee boots. If you want to play it safe with your dresses, you can wear charcoal or Blk or Brn. tights.

Sarah Palin, is wearing Cole Haan boots, for anyone who wants boots and likes hers.

I'm hoping to get back to wearing tights. I like that look. On Friday, a boomer woman in my class had on a torquise sweater dress, with black tights and black boots. She looked great.
