Dotsie, long story.. Grands are great!! SIL is not so great.. having more memory loss.. more weakness on right side..

My DIL-to-be (my son proposed on Christmas morning) was pregnant with my 2nd grandchild, but lost it a week ago. :-( We're all very broken up about it.

I'm going out to AZ in Feb. to celebrate my granddaughter's first birthday!

Vicki, thanks for the quick update. Sorry to hear about your SIL. It was a tough year for them, and all of you. I hope 2009 is much better.

Isn't reading other's writing the best? I just love it. So interesting, and you cna learn a lot by reading what others write. Some are so good, and others are awful so you can learn what NOT to do too.

I didn't enter this contest but the subject matter of an0ther post today made me look at this again. I have to honestly say that if today were my last day on earth for certain, I would go out and I would eat all the things I am not suppose to have because of my Diabetes. After all the various pasta and lobster, crab etc. dishes I ate, I would eat myself into a delicious chocolaty dessert coma and die with a smile on my face, guaranteed...

Chatty, I'm thinking that would be a delicious "heaven".

I intend to have the contest again next year, and will think up another "theme"; something equally as inspiring I hope!
