Reduce risks...?

Research has shown that ingesting walnuts reduces the risk of heart disease and lowers cholesterol. Walnuts are an excellent source of protein; they're rich in fiber, B vitamins, magnesium and antioxidants. They suggest snacking on walnuts but in moderation.

Cinnamon is another goodie. It lowers cholesterol, has
a regulatory effect on blood sugar, reduces rapid growth of leukemia and lymphoma cancer cells, has an anti-clotting effect on the blood, and releaves arthritis pain. [Smelling cinnamon boosts cognitive function and memory.]

Jabber, I'll keep both recommendations in mind! I need cinnamon for work!

Hubby and daughter have both tried the cinnamon capsules to lower blood sugar but it didin't work for them. However, I've heard this is an indivisual thing so don't let that keep anyone else from trying it.

I'd heard about almonds, but am hearing more now about walnuts. What's the difference? Anyone know?
