If you are every driving alone and an "unmarked car" turns on a red light and wants you to pull over in a remote area, dial *77 on your cell phone and you will be immediately connected to the State Police dispatcher, tell her whats going on and that you will stop in a gas station or other well lit area with people around. She will check to see if there are any unmarked cars in your area, if NOT, she will immediately dispatch cars to your location. This has occured and the man in the unmarked car was NOT a policeman and was taken into custody.

I called our local police department and was told that this is absolutely true and allowed in ervery state, she also said to put your blinkers on so the car behind you knows you are aware he is there and are looking for a safe place to pull over...
