Cosmic Brownies FINALLY

Well those of you who contributed should have your copies of "Cosmic Brownies" by now. Apparently it's selling like hotcakes so that's good news. I'm receiving email from so many contributors who are pleased with the book.

Thanks again to all of you who contributed AND who were so very patient while this new poetry publisher got caught up on their projects and kept us waiting so long!!

Just thought I'd mention that they are looking for contributions to one or two other anthologies AND I think they are still looking for a volunteer editor (like I was for "Brownies") to help with one of the anthologies. You can check the whole thing out on their website:

Hi! Yes! I got my copy yesterday. It did turn out so nicely, and you did a great job.

I was tickled to see Maya Angelou's poem, and that the first half of it is in rhyme, especially since the two you used of mine were rhyming poems .

I saw a lot of Boomer babes in there, too! What a treat. Thank you so much for including me.

Pam, the book looks great! Thanks for the contributor's copy. Nothing like seeing one's name in a book to start the weekend off right!

Glad you got your copies ladies! I think Sun is really overwhelmed with the response to this one - it may be a few more days before EVERYONE who contributed gets their copies.

Any Boomer who DID contribute and hasn't received their copy by the end of next week should contact Donette@sunbooks.com.

I got mine yesterday and dove right into it. I was pleased at how nice it looked and to see my boomr friends in there as well. Great Job Pam.

I know this can take a while. It happened with the women's devotional. I got mine and some contributing friends got it weeks later .

Well, I'm still waiting . Lucky me I have so much to do, I don't have time to worry over this!

Rhodi you DEFINITELY should have received your contributors copy by now. Donette (the publisher at Sun Rising Poetry Press) just recently joined the Boomer Forum but might not see this posting of yours since she's learning her way around.

Just send her an email through the Sun Rising Poetry Press website and let her know you have NOT received your copy yet. I'm sure it was an oversight on their part - they are just super, super busy!

I have had a few people tell me that they have not gotten their copies of Cosmic Brownies and I see it in the posts here . I'm not sure what happened but if you are a contributor or ordered Cosmic Brownies and didn't receive your copy please let me know I will check on it and send out your copy immediately.

Isn't it fun to read all the boomer poems? I finally got a chance to read some of it the other night, and I love the fact that there is such a variety of styles in the book.

Of course, I also like to brag that I'm in the same book as Maya! lol!
