Birth of a Book

I have an announcement! My book is officially out!
A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE THRONE is in print! WAHOOOOO! I'm so happy and haven't stopped dancing since I got the word.

IT WILL BE A COUPLE OF WEEKS BEFORE THEY COME IN...

However, if you would like to pre-order your autographed copy, you can do so at my homepage http://www.queenjawjaw.com There's a button on the front page when you arrive.

I've got to tell you, I can't even describe the feeling. Its so great!

A couple of things I'll mention

1) There is a PayPal button on my site in case you are a PayPal member and want to order that way. YOU HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF PAYPAL to order. At least until Monday. I hope to have that changed by then.

2) As stated, this is for pre-ordering autographed copies. The books should arrived in a couple of weeks. You also have the option of sending me a check. On Monday, Amazon will be added. We (me and my web queen) just ran out of time!

You are going to laugh your b--- off. I was fortunate enough to be one of the editors. All I could do was laugh, shake my head, and think...how does she come up with this stuff? She's crazy. I'm smiling just posting about it. Can't wait to get my copy in the mail.

Get your books now becasue she's goig to be the Featured Author in July! You better believe THAT will be a lively forum.

Contrary to popular belief, reading my book will NOT make your butt smaller...HOWEVER....Buying a copy WILl make my credit card bill smaller, which...by the way, rivals the national debt.

I haven't even read it yet and my butt is already smaller. At least 50% smaller, maybe more. Very small in fact. Super small. Smaller than your credit card bill I bet.

I'm of course looking forward to getting my copy too! Nobody writes humor like DA QUEEN and I can testify to that...happily I was an official "reviewer" of this book of hilarity so I know what I'm talkin' about!!

Now JJ what I want to know is would you prefer all of us display your book on our bookshelves, coffee tables or in the "throne room"??? What??? Huh?????

You two are killing me! I'm excited for you JJ no matter who it is, but you are driving me crazy guessing!!!!!!!! You'd better tell us as soon as you are able!

I'll spill the beans as soon as we know one way or the other but don't want to pull the energy from this yet. I always err on the side of cautious.

JJ, I completely know what this would mean. You will hit the BIG TIME. And when I told Andy about you, he also thought it was a wonderful idea and that's why he came back with the info. The email I sent him was returned so I emailed his wife and if she's traveling, I'll just call Andy and remind him. They have a home in Italy and go there often (both of them were born and raised there).

I can tell you this: JJ wants to travel in a motorcycle trike with Trixie and promote her book but while she's doing that, it's the ground work for another book about seeing the sites, etc. with your dog riding in a sidecar. Great concept and also would make a great documentary. We're working with a sponsor. That's all I can tell you. Just pray for this to happen!

A short update: I finally received the correct email addy for my contact and sent of a reminder about what he and I had discussed in Florida (JJ) and he immediately responded to tell me he was CALLING his contact in Hong Kong to get the needed info for JJ.

So girls, please pray like crazy because I so want this to happen for JJ. She deserves it, she's better than Erma Bombeck and she's a wonderful person. Pray, pray, pray.
