WordPress for blog/website?

Is anyone using Wordpress? I joined an expensive class and it's difficult for me. I'm wondering if anyone else had this experience.

It was set up as an adjunct to my site. Once it was set up for me I am able to take it over and do everything myself.

I'm still in this class and it's much more difficult than I imagined. Definitely out of my comfort zone and that's a good thing. So much to learn for a newbie.
