LOTTERY

LOTTERY - 12/20/06 03:11 AM

Hey ladies, you may or may not have heard about the Oak Lawn, IL, co-workers who for several years purchased lottery tickets collectively and won this year!

I was wondering if any of you would like to do the same? For instance, perhaps some of us could get together, choose our "number(s)" and purchase locally in our individual states when our "turn" arrives.

SO, lets say 6 participate, we work this in a private forum and via email w/ strict guidelines and select our numbers and rotate monthly w/ each individual, thus 12 chances with each purchasing a ticket 2X yearly. Also, upon purchasing a ticket w/ our already pre-chosen numbers, we will scan (or otherwise) the ticket and email/mail it to each individual involved as proof positive.

Anyone game?

I'll join in but there is no state lottery in Nevada, does that matter?

Keep me posted, mustanggal

What a cool idea. We have a lottery in Germany but I think it's too complicated with Euros and dollar currency exchange. Too bad.

Now you're cooking, I love the slots anyway and have a fair amount of good luck. PLus with my card just sitting in the machine at any Station Casino, I can win a couple hundred thousand dollars no matter what denomination of coin I'm playing from .01 cents to a dollar...I would probably faint dead away, if I won that much money....

OK, anyone want to take a gander?

I understand that playing the lottery with a group of folks can give more chances of winning without spending more of your own money.

I'm in Mustang, what do I send, to who, and where, lets do this thing. Can't win if you don't play, right?

I would be glad to play the slots on Friday and Saturday from 6:00 to 9;00 p.m. thats when I can win a $1000.00 for just having a card in the machine.

Now they are talking about starting a lottery here in Nevada too, but the casinos are against it, the pigs...
How much revenue would it take away from them anyway?
