Cameroon was our home
Till a man came and hosed us

Dianne, I forgot to tell you that a few months ago, we took the kids to an alligator farm near Alamosa, CO. They had many other animals, including two African Greys. I tried to get them to talk, but they wouldn't. I asked them how Sammie Sue was and they totally ignored me! I think they're jealous of how smart she is.

And...the fact that Sammie Sue has her own blog must really drive them crazy.

If they are in a wild environment, they usually won't pick up too many words unless they hear them repeated a lot. Sometimes, Sammie makes these jungle noises and I have no idea where she learned them unless it's just in her blood. It's so funny to hear.
