Since it really is a small world.....

I was wondering if anyone ever vacationed in the Catskill, NY moutains?

My aunt & uncle owned a small motel in East Durham,NY called The Chateau Motor Lodge.

Another summertime memory...we'd vacation there every summer!!!

The only part of NY I went to when I was a child was Schenectady. I have relatives there. I remember the Mohawk Trail. I thought it was great.

We went to the Catskills several summers for 2 weeks, but I don't remember exactly where. "Chateau Motor Lodge" definitly doesn't sound like it, though. We shared a bungalow with my Grandma (Mom + 3 kids) and Dad would drive up on the weekends. I even have some of the old pics!

Hmm.....bungalows.......I will have to ask my grandmother the names of the other places upstate.

My former manager goes there every fall for a family reunion---another weird coincidence that happened to me!!!
