Italy - 10/18/03 07:29 AM

First Paris and London, and now Italy. My husband has another business trip and I found a cheap flight and will be joing him in Florence in mid November. Anyone been to Florence? I probably won't get any further than Florence, (maybe Pisa and Tuscany)so I'd appreciate anyone who has been to Florence telling me a little bit about what to there.

Oh jawjaw you crack me up. Evie, he comes back from San Antonio tomorrow night and then in under three weeks we go it Italy. I know he's ready to be at home, but he's glad I'm going with him to Italy.

As far as loan and adoption goes, next year's business trips are Philadelphia and Cleveland. Any takers?

Candice, I think it's great that you and your hubby are newlyweds and his conferences have been in such romantic places this year. [Razz]

I haven't seen Under The Tuscan Sun, but Dreamrkate has and she loved it. You should see it before going to Italy! it might get you psyched.

If you were here I'd see it with you because I really want to see it.

I suggest fasting before you leave and then EATING your way through Florence. Take some pictures, but the memories will be made with your taste buds! Have fun. I, too, am jealous.

I have heard the food is fantastic, but given my experience last month in Paris, I won't be as adventurous as I would hope.

Garrie, if we lived closer you could bring them to my house. I'm afraid they wouldn't get their home-schooling while here though! [Eek!]

My husband and I would really like to travel more often but until the kids are all out of the house we won't do much without them. I figure life goes in stages. This is our stage to do most things with our the kids.

However, once or twice a year we sneak away to a hotel within 3 hours from home. One time we even went to one that was within walking distance! Grandparents or my sis come spend the night.

One little night is enough to helpus remember we're a couple again! [Big Grin]

WELL, for starters you could say you own a villa there and we are all invited. That works for me. Girls?
