This is the place to share those vacation plans. Can't wait to see where everyone has visited. This should be a helpful forum because we are from different parts of the country so we should be able to help one another plan great vacations.

So where have you been, or where are you going?

I watched a neat program on the Travel channel last night. It was "Top Ten National Parks to See Wildlife". Since that is one of my favorite sights on our vacations, and hubby's too, I jotted down the list. I was surprised at some of them, and disappointed that some of my favorites didn't make the list, but I thought it might be neat to visit a few of them when we retire, if not before.
The list started at #10, Glacier Nat'l Park in Montana, #9, Olympic Natl Park in Washington, #8, Isle Royal in Michigan in the middle of Lake Superior, #7, Everglades, in Florida. From there, the show took us to #6, Glacier Bay, in Alaska, #5 Denali, Alaska, #4 Channel Islands, California, #3 Yellowstone, Wyoming, #2 Katmai, Alaska, and finally #1, Grand Teton, Wyoming. A quick search on the internet will give you more information on what to look for on each trip. We've already been to Yellowstone a couple of times, and the Grand Tetons last year, so I'd like to check out some of the others next trip.
