To Arizona I go!!

Hi All, I'm off to Arizona for 9 days. I'm going to a writers' conference in Phoenix and then I get to drive to Tucson and spend 5 glorious days with my kids and grandbabies. YIPPEE!!

I leave tomorrow. So, am busy getting everything together to pack. Packing is hard now that the airlines only allow one suitcase, and it has to be under 50 pounds and I have to pack for a conference and casual. argh!

I hope it's still warm in Arizona, cuz I'm bringing light clothes. They pack easier.

I'll bring back lots of pictures!

I bet you can't wait to see your precious granddaughter and daughter. Have a wonderful time...

Vicki, I'm sure you're having a blast. I'd love to know if you would have gone to that conference if you weren't able to visit your family while out there.

One of the things that moved me to attend the More Reinvention Convention was that I could also see my son while I was there. Ross has another conference in NYC in a couple weeks. Again, we're going because we'll also be able to see him.

Dotsie, that's a good question. Yes, I still would have gone, as I'm the President of the organization and I would have needed to be there. Having my kids within driving distance was an added bonus.

I've promised my kids I'll come out at least once a year to visit. So, we have that to look forward to.

The trip was great. I have to sort through all my photos before I can post. My daughter took pictures of Kasey Belle in her various outfits and I'm waiting for her to send me the pictures.

It's good to be home after 9 days.

The conference was from Wizards of Words. I'm the President of the organization. It's the 4th annual conference. http://www.wizardsofwords.org

The conference went really well. Jerry Simmons was our luncheon speaker and David Morrell was our Keynote. (He wrote the Rambo series)

Next year, the conference will be in Las Vegas. Chatty, any chance on getting to meet you while I'm there???

Say, has anyone heard from Vicki since she left for Arizona to visit her daughter, SIL and granddaughter? Said she had many pictures to share. Oh, and Vicki if you see this, YES, you had better visit with me when you're in town. I'll probably be at the convention anyway, since I am joining WOW next month.

My daughter lost the pictures she took of Kasey Belle in the frilly dresses. The stinker can't figure out where they went. Somehow, between her camera and her computer, they went the way of LALA land.

So, good news. I'm going back to Arizona in February for Kasey Belle's first birthday, so I will take more pictures!! And, I will barrage my daughter with requests to take pictures of Kasey Belle in her new clothes every time she gets her dressed. I will put them up on my site and let you know.

She looks so happy and so cute. Who is the little boy?

My grandson, Dominik. He's two. He's my son's little boy. My grandson is so much like my son, it's funny.
