Thank God for the new Health Care Reform!!

My daughter recently graduated from college with a MBA ... and is having a hard time (jobless) and liv'n in my basement with her boyfriend ... but the good news is she's still only 24 and I can thankfully give her health care under my companies health care package .... Oh thank you Obama ... Thank You!!!!

I had heard there were some changes recently that allowed parents to claim their adult children on health insurance for a longer period of time, but I wasn't up on all the details. It IS wonderful if you can offer your daughter this benefit without her still having to be a student.

When do/did the new age change go into effect?

yep, it goes into effect January 2011...but some companies are making it effective earlier ... such as mine - last september
