Okay, you gals who've written published books. How do you promote those books without spending tons of money? Free Book Promotions don't seem to be free. After you've filled out umpteen forms, they want you to pay. Facebook has lots of free blog advertisements that nobody reads. I've given up on that after doing a couple hundred promos. Do you just forget about it? Or what?

Jabber, a lot of new authors don't realize that the most important part of becoming a successful author is the promotion that comes after the book is published.

One thing you can do is write articles, for a variety of websites that accept article submissions from others. And then promote the book in your signature file. For example, NABBW offers the opportunity to write one article a month for us. Which we will publish on the NABBW site. We publish the articles on the front page of the NABBW.com website, and you can have a link to your book on Amazon, etc., in your signature file.

Another thing, of course, is doing book signings at local/regional book stores.

I'm sure a Google search will turn up some other good ideas.
