See something, say something...

Law enforcement tells us, "If you see something, say something."
Don't. I did. The person making a complaint is first person
at which they point the finger. Tattling on someone, can ruin your life. Evildoers' spin their wrongdoing. And the person who turned them in, is the person whose life gets turned
topsy-turvy...Just sayin'...

Here's another example: The shooting in Virginia. Police are asking anybody that saw anything related to the shooter to come forward.
Ya see something. Ya say something. And your life is messed up forever. Now where's the justice in that. Inexperienced sleuths make the wrong judgment call, ruin peoples' lives and nobody cares.
Private security walks around with puffed up chests thinking they're doing a great service for society. And in reality, they don't have a clue what in the heck they're doing. Just sayin'...
