Black Friday/Cyber Monday? - 11/28/16 02:20 AM

I just read in INTERNET RETAILER that 122 million shoppers are projected to be buying online tomorrow.

Will you be one of them?

I buy online all the time; not just on Cyber Monday or Black Friday. What about you?

I actually prefer tho shop online, Jabber. I have reached a point in life where I don't like crowded stores. And, online, I can shop and compare at my convenience.

Gotta watch some of those advertisements on Facebook, though, Anne.

I bought a Coach purse a while ago without a problem. If fact, I love it. So I bought another. The second one was a "knock-off"; the add looked real. But it was not. When I received the order,
it had been shipped from China. It was flimsy and awful. I contacted the main office of Coach but they did nothing. So I try to warn folks' it's a scam. Disappointing, ya know!

When shopping online, you DO always have to remember "buyer beware," Jabber.

I totally ignore all the ADS on Facebook or on the web in general. If I am shopping, I absolutely type in the URL myself.

And I'm sure the real Coach company takes no responsibility for any of the knockoffs that exist online. They can't do that and stay profitable.

Well, the first purse I bought without a problem so I assumed it was okay. Live and learn.

I didn't understand that you'd bought BOTH purses online from a Facebook ad, Jabber. But the thing is, there are all kinds of "trolls" online whose scam is to crate sites that LOOK LIKE real sites, but they're not. I say this as a website developer, which is what I did professionally before I bought NABBW. (And our company, BoomerCo (www.BoomerCo.com) still DOES develop websites.)

That's why I know it's really imperative to make sure you are on the "real" website.

What's your favorite style of Coach bag, Jabber? I just checked out their site, and I see they hardly sell any 100% leather bags anymore.

Cool! With regard to your Coach Leathergoods authentication issue, Jabber, here's news on what Amazon is doing to assure customers that advertised goods are authentic: Amazon authentication program
