11 plus years...

Communicating on this forum for over 11 years has taught me many worthwhile issues, not least of which are: Boric acid kills ants; can soften hard water damage to bath towels with lots of fabric softener and cleaning vinegar; the symptoms of PTSD; Auto Track aka Choice Point is now the Lexis/Nexis private security company; and why Maya Angelou said, "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings."
Chatty told me about "Echinacea Goldenseal" which I've been taking since that time.

Point is: Facebook and other sites are for everybody. boomerwomenspeak is a woman's site focusing on issues important to females: housecleaning; health care; elder care; family relationships; work-related problems; cooking tips, etc.

That's absolutely correct, Jabber. And, as we Boomer women age, we begin facing new issues, all of which are not new to someone here... Issues, like widowhood, failing health, knee and hip replacements, issues with grandchildren, how to make our finances work better for us -- even decision on whether to staying our homes or downsize to a place designed for older adults.

Hopefully these are topics we all want to know more about.

I know. And on this forum we can discuss things like bras, cleaning products and in-laws, without embarrassing family and friends.

Suppose I've said this before but the best thing I came across on this site is the Elations drink aka Joint Juice. Been drinking one a day for probably seven years or so. I couldn't stand the arthritic pain if I hadn't discovered this site and that drink.
